About
The Technique, the Care
My gradual maturation in the art of lutherie is evident through a path of continuous learning driven by a vocation and a desire to tread a constantly evolving journey.
I have refined and transformed various construction approaches, shaped and adapted the inspirational models that guide my work, acquired valuable knowledge through specific texts, attended update courses, and engaged in frequent dialogues with highly competent luthier colleagues.
I am fascinated by building instruments inspired by great luthiers of the past, those who have paved the way, drawing inspiration from their masterpieces and then reworking these ideas into tangible creations.
C.F. Martin has always been the author who inspires my acoustic guitars, while A. Torres, H. Hauser, R. Bouchet, D. Friederich are the masters who have pushed me in the search for my style on classical guitars up to this moment.
The construction of sound, the harmony of forms, and the aesthetics of decorations are indispensable characteristics of every instrument for me.
Similarly, I seek a profound balance between tone, volume, and sound projection.
There are many variables to consider when creating an instrument: the type of treated woods, their thickness, the bracing of the top, string tension, the balance of weights between the neck and body, to name a few.
Experiments and the journey undertaken serve precisely this purpose: to put into the hands of the musician the best instrument I can offer.
