Romantic Steel
Instruments > Acoustic guitars
The Romantic Steel model catch the eye for the aesthetic characteristics reminiscent of Stauffer guitars and the very early Martin models.
Each instrument draws inspiration from at least one historical model, and the reworking from the original is a delightful moment of lutherie and study.
While the originals typically used gut strings, the Romantic Steel models are designed and built for steel strings: the depth of the body and the architecture of the soundboard are specifically developed for this purpose.
The available woods are Val di Fiemme Spruce/Indian Rosewood, Val di Fiemme Spruce/Makassar Ebony, Val di Fiemme Spruce/Flamed or Figured Maple, or 'All-mahogany.'
Scale length: 630 mm.
Starting price: €4800 excluding for the 'All-mahogany' version, oil finish.
