RESTORATION
The conservation of heritage is the principle upon which the work of a restorer is based: preserving an object from present and future events, ensuring it has the longest possible lifespan.
It is in this perspective that all restorations are carried out. Routine maintenance work ensures the efficiency of the instrument, while extraordinary work following breakages, falls, woodworm damage, or deformations allows the instrument to return as closely as possible to its original form and potentially produce music.
For each instrument, research is conducted on the author, only historically appropriate materials are used, and hot glue is applied. Every phase of the restoration work is documented through photography.
